Weatherford Texas snow and ice removal

Integrity lawns in Granbury Texas, was called to a doctor’s office In Weatherford Texas, after they had trouble with snow and ice that was not melting fast enough. The front walkways and entry areas were slippery and the property needed a quick fix so staff and patients could get in and out safely. We responded right after the phone call and sent out a crew to apply ice melt and shovel the front walkways.

Our team worked quickly and completed the initial cleanup within a few hours of the call. We focused on the main entrances so the building could remain open and people would not have to navigate dangerous walkways. Applying ice melt and clearing the primary paths made an immediate difference for visitors and employees that afternoon.

The next day the property manager called again after someone slipped and fell in a different area of the complex. This site is a seven building complex and they asked us to return for a more extensive cleanup at one of those buildings. Because the problem areas were in shaded spots, the ice had not melted and conditions were much worse away from the sun.

We returned with our skid loader, heavy equipment, and the full crew to handle the tougher work. The shaded walkways and parking areas had ice ranging from a thin skim to up to three inches thick, and some snow piles had compacted into even thicker, solid ice. Our crew shoveled and removed snow around seven walkways and concrete pads, then used the skid loader to scrape and remove the heavier ice from backsides of several parking lot sections.

The team worked into the night to make sure the area was cleared and safe for the next day. After scraping and hauling away the snow and ice, we coated the cleared surfaces with a heavy application of salt. In total we applied about 500 pounds of salt across the seven buildings to help prevent refreeze and improve traction for pedestrians and vehicles.

Clearing the ice and applying de-icer prepared the property for normal business operations the following morning. While we were finishing up, several people came out to thank us for getting the walkways and parking areas cleared, and the property manager was relieved to have the problem addressed. This job was a focused snow and ice removal and de-icing effort by Integrity Lawns in Granbury Texas, completed to reopen safe access around the affected building quickly and thoroughly.
